matter how much she thinks her Cal Lutheran women’s volleyball team deserves a spot in the NCAA Division III Championships, Kellee Roesel can never rest easy unless the Regals secure an automatic bid.
That meant Roesel had to endure a few restless hours last weekend waiting for the at-large berths to be announced.
But Roesel’s confidence was rewarded on Monday when CLU’s name appeared in the draw for the fourth time in the last five years.
“We are excited to be in it, but I want to win it,” Roesel said. “I am competitive and so are these girls, so after we spent an afternoon being happy about making it, it was back to business in the gym.”"
