Christian School emerged from Tri-Valley League play a week ago tested and ready for the rigors of one-and-done playoffs.
The TVL continued its recent mastery of Pacific View League volleyball teams Thursday night as Oaks Christian extended its playoff run with a three-game sweep of host Camarillo, 25-20, 26-24, 25-22.
Oaks Christian (22-6) advances to play the winner of La Cañada and La Habra in the quarterfinals.
“That was one of our best matches this year,” Oaks Christian coach George Hees said.
Camarillo (16-11), which earned a share of the Pacific View League title with Oxnard, had earned a first-round bye and hosted the CIF-Southern Section Division II-A second-round matchup."
